Technical Plans

What is this?

This is the foundation of any interior project. Technical drawings are an indispensable and essential part of every interior design project, ensuring that visually confirmed decisions are precisely implemented during the construction and fit-out stages.

These are not merely ‘drawings on paper’ — they are an instruction manual for every tradesperson: the electrician, plumber, floor layer, cabinetmaker, decorator, or lighting installer.

Without these plans, even the most beautiful vision can become impossible to achieve or incorrectly realised.

Why is every plan interconnected and inseparable from the others?

One plan cannot exist without another — it is like a chain where every link supports the next:

  • The electrical plan depends on the furniture layout — if sockets are not aligned with tables, appliance positions, or light locations, you will end up with cables running across walls or needing to break freshly plastered surfaces.
  • Plumbing must be coordinated with bathroom, kitchen, or utility room furniture — otherwise the washing machine or toilet simply won’t fit, or will block a cabinet.
  • Lighting is planned not only by style, but also by function and furniture placement — if a sofa or table is relocated, the lighting will lose its purpose.
  • Floors, tiles, ceilings — the direction of finishes, level transitions, junctions, and their precise positioning are directly dependent on the furniture layout, zones, and the logic of the space.
  • The furniture layout is the starting point for all other plans — it determines appliance positions, and even ventilation and lighting outlet locations.

Creating one plan without the others risks a chain reaction of problems: an error in one inevitably leads to corrections in the rest. This costs not only time, but money.

What plans do we provide?

  • Furniture layout plan: A functional and ergonomic foundation for all other plans. It establishes the logic, circulation, and proportions of the space.
  • Electrical plan: Switches, sockets, and lighting outlets — positioned according to furniture and appliances.
  • Lighting plan: Ceiling, pendant, wall, or accent fittings — marked alongside their controls and lighting function.
  • Plumbing plan: Water supply, drainage, underfloor heating — precisely coordinated with equipment and furniture.
  • Floor covering plan: Materials, junction points, laying directions, and level transitions are specified — particularly important for parquet, vinyl, and tiles.
  • Tile layout plan: Joints, laying directions, and decorative element positions — so that the cabinetmaker can adapt production accordingly.
  • Ceiling plan: Heights, recesses, insets, and fitting positions are specified — all coordinated with the interior design concept.
  • Mechanical ventilation diffuser plan: We provide a clear supply and extract (diffuser) plan, coordinated with the furniture, fittings, and niche layout, ensuring that the ventilation system integration is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Why does this matter?

  • All tradespeople work from a unified plan — fewer questions, errors, and misinterpretations.
  • No on-site remedial work required — everything is coordinated in advance with the furniture, appliances, and fittings.
  • All points are planned logically — based on your habits, functions, furniture, and spaces.
  • Cost savings — additional works, damaged materials, and replaced finishes are avoided.
  • The project is delivered precisely on schedule — without delays, waiting, and improvisation on site.
  • You know exactly what the final result will look like — and the contractor knows exactly how to deliver it.
